This talk takes a panoramic view of evolution of mobile wireless technology, pointing out key advances. This is followed by the status of 5G currently being rolled out and proposals for the future 6G. Finally, some remarks on India and the transformative impact of mobile technologies.
Arogyaswami J. Paulraj is an Emeritus Professor at Stanford University. He is the inventor and the pioneer of MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) Wireless, the key technology in all modern wireless systems.His national recognitions include the US Govt. National Inventors Hall of Fame, the Friendship Award from the Govt. of PR China, and the Padma Bhushan from the Govt. of India.
