Abstract

A variety of evaluation techniques are used in computer architecture research. In this talk, I will provide an overview of techniques, with examples from analytical modeling, simulation and measurement.

Biography of the speaker

Matthew Jacob joined IISc in 1991. Prior to that he studied at IIT Madras and the University of Wisconsin, Madison before working as a faculty member at Penn State University. His research interests are in computer architecture.
