Thematic Research Clusters

The EECS Division encourages collaboration among faculty members, cutting across the four Departments of the Division and even across the six Divisions in the Institute.

Thematic research clusters represent a growing culture of faculty members cutting across departments and divisions collaborating on contemporary inter-disciplinary themes. The  goal of a research cluster is to  pursue collaborative research with a shared vision,  conduct regular technical meetings, organize focussed workshops,  identify and take up high impact initiatives at national and international scale, and secure large grants.  Here is an expanding  list of such clusters.
