Maheswari Sivan

Assistant Professor

Bio

Dr. Maheswari Sivan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronic Systems Engineering at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Her research focuses on next-generation semiconductor technologies for energy-efficient computing, spanning beyond-silicon alternatives such as two-dimensional materials, novel logic and memory devices, 3D monolithic integration, and in-memory computing. She received her Ph.D. from National University of Singapore, an M.Tech. in Solid State Technology from Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, and a B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from University of Kerala. Prior to joining IISc, she worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at NUS. She has authored more than 10 research articles, including publications in journals such as Nature Communications, ACS Nano, and npj 2D Materials and Applications. She also actively contributes to the research community as a reviewer for leading journals, including IEEE Electron Device Letters, ACS Nano, Scientific Reports, and IOP Nanotechnology.
