Sridhar received his Bachelors and Masters degrees in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras. He completed his PhD and post-doctoral research as a Stanford Graduate/Dean’s Fellow at Stanford University investigating neural circuit mechanisms of attention. He is now an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Neuroscience and an Associate Faculty of Computer Science and Automation. His lab studies the neural mechanisms of selective attention in humans with a combination of brain imaging, neurostimulation and computational modeling. Recent awards include a Wellcome Trust-DBT India Alliance Fellowship, SERB Early Career Award, and a Pratiksha Trusts Young Investigator grant.
