Sumit Kumar Mandal

Bio

Dr. Sumeet Kumar Mandal is an assistant professor in the department of Computer Science and Automation at IISc., Bangalore. He completed his PhD in 2022 under the advice of Dr. Umit Y. Ogras at eLab in Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW-Madison). Before joining UW-Madison, he was in Arizona State University (ASU). He completed his dual degree (B.Tech & M.Tech which is equivalent to BS & MS) from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT Kharagpur) in the year of 2015. After that, he was a Research & Development Engineer at Synopsys India Pvt. Ltd. from 2015 to 2017.

Expertise

His research interest includes networks-on-chip design & analysis, hardware for machine learning algorithms, power management for heterogeneous systems-on-chip.
