Atli Lemma Gebretsadik and Malleboina Raju (PhD students) and Professor Debdeep Sarkar received a Best Paper Award for their paper ‘On the Path Loss Characteristics of Sub-6 GHz 6G Indoor Channels Enabled With Coded Metasurface Based Anomalous Reflectors’ in the Antenna, Communication and Networking track of the recently concluded multidisciplinary conference IEEE CONECCT 2024 organised by the IEEE Bangalore section from 12–24 July 2024, and held at the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, India. In this paper, the authors carry out experiment-based investigations on the effect of path-loss characteristics of indoor channels equipped with anomalous reflectors based on digitally coded metasurfaces.
