Prathamesh Mayekar receives ISIT 2018 Jack Keil Wolf student paper award.

Prathamesh Mayekar’s joint paper with Dr. Parimal Parag and Dr. Himanshu Tyagi titled `Optimal Lossless Source Codes for Timely Updates’ has been selected as one of the 3 winners of the ISIT 2018 student paper award. Prathamesh gave an excellent talk that  attracted  widespread  attention. It was a joy to share the excitement of this announcement with the 8-student-strong contingent of IISc participants at the conference banquet.
