Anandi Giridharan

Principal Research Scientist

Bio

Anandi Giridharan obtained her B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Bangalore University. She then obtained the M.Sc(Engg.) degree from Indian Institute of Science. Since 1990, she has been with the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, in the Dept. of Electrical Communication Engineering (ECE), where she is a Principal Research Scientist.

She has served as Chair IEEE(CIS) Bangalore Chapter (2016-2018 ) , and Current Vice Chair, Women in Engineering affinity group, Bangalore Section(2018 onwards). She is also member of IETE, ISHM, IEEE-IISc HKN Chapter.

Area of Research: Communication Protocols, Formal Languages, Ubiquitous Computing, Multimedia Information Systems.
